1 12 oz, Doppelbock (substitute with Dunkel, Schwarzbier or Marzen/Oktoberfest)
2 c. water
2 lbs. small gold potatoes
¼ c. olive oil
4 cloves garlic

Optional: 2 T. butter, 2 T. flour for gravy
